The Kintyre is a new design of long practice chanter developed by Stuart and Willie McCallum.
The Kintyre practice chanter boasts a beautiful clear tone and the sound lasts much longer as a result of the innovative watertrap incorporated in the top piece. If emptied on a regualr basis, it will give hours of uninterrupted practice.
Willie Mccallum describes it as “the only long practice chanter I have played that feels like a pipe chanter”, thereby making the transition much easier. It’s unique hole design is a huge step forward in improving finger work.
Includes a practice chanter reed.
Update your original Pipers Pal Reed Protector with the Alert Cap.
Cap comes with the Pipers Pal Solution and attaches to your original reed protector. Incorporates the indicator on top of the protector to visually aid you in ensuring your read protector is operating at optimum conditions.
Husk pipe chanter reeds – balanced, bold in volume, vibrant and full blowing with excellent harmonies
Reed Strengths
Senior/Beginner – suitable for beginner, young child or senior player
Easy – great for new players
Easy/Medium-choice for solo players
Medium – great choice for bands (not overly hard, lots of volume, harmonics and extremely stable)
Designed in 2019 by Alastair Dunn, Double Gold Medalist and 10-time World Champion with Field Marshal Montgomery Pipe Band
This chanter features smaller finger holes. The Infinity chanter allows pipe corps to integrate and play at the same pitch.
The Infinity chanter has been extensively tested in a synthetic and leather pipe bag set-up with a range of reeds and produces a rich resonant tone that will provide superb harmonics with any set of drones. It provides optimum sound when pitched in the range 480hz to 484hz
The R.G. Hardie Infinity poly pipe chanter comes complete with a reed protector and protective tube.
This McCallum practice chanter has a plain alloy ferrule and imitation ivory sole.
It is an economical and durable practice chanter with a superior tone and appearance.
The McCallum long poly practice chanter is 22″ from top of mouthpiece to bottom. Spacing between the holes is similar to a regular pipe chanter so you can easily switch between your practice chanter and bagpipes.
Includes a practice chanter reed.
The TechnoPipes by Fagerstrom makes practicing at any time or place a reality.
The Fagerstrom TechnoPipes are a full-size electronic bagpipe and they are an ideal complement to your regular practice chanter.
