We rent the complete Highland outfit, both formal and casual attire. Kilt hose, tuxedo shirts and ties are purchase items only.
Our rentals are available to rent anywhere in Canada. Don’t be hesitant to inquire about kilt rentals going to USA destinations such as Las Vegas and more.
Kilt Rental Process
We are here to help make kilt rentals for your special event easy. We can assist you with selecting an outfit, scheduling rentals, and collecting information from members of a group or wedding party.
The Ideal Time to Reserve your Kilt Outfit
The ideal time to schedule a kilt rental is 12 to 16 weeks before your event, especially if you are outfitting a group. This timing will offer the greatest selection and the best chance of receiving your first choice in all selections. We can certainly work with less notice. We have a huge rental inventory and can fit sizes 2 to 60.
Choosing your Highland Outfit
All of our kilt rentals are made in Scotland and some accessories are made in Canada. Whichever style you choose, you’ll be wearing an authentic outfit.
Choose one of our complete outfit packages or select individual jackets, kilts or accessories to rent. Rental packages are priced as complete head-to-toe outfits, but you can rent individual items.
Swatches of the tartan fabric are available for purchase, and the cost of the swatch becomes a credit if you decide to rent one of our kilts or packages.
We can supply multiple coordinated outfits for groups and wedding parties. To make group rentals easier, we have a measurement form, which can be used by members to submit their own measurements once the party reservation has been made.
Reserving your Rental
Store Location – To reserve rentals of kilts and kilt packages, a 50% deposit per rental is required. The deposit will be charged at the time the rental is reserved and the balance will be charged when the items are picked up or shipped. The deposit is part of the rental, so the balance is the balance remaining plus GST (and shipping if applicable).
Online – If you book online, full payment is required upon booking.
Cancellation: For rentals cancelled more than 4 weeks before event date, deposits will be refunded less a 25% administration fee. For rentals cancelled within 4 weeks of event, deposits are non-refundable. If you have booked online then rentals cancelled more than 4 weeks from event date will be refunded full amount less 25% administration fee. Cancellations for rentals booked online less than 4 weeks from event date will be charged full deposit (50% of full rental charge).
SHIPPING (If applicable)
The outgoing shipping charge for rentals is based on the order total and is the responsibility of the customer. Items are shipped to arrive to you approximately 3 days before your event. It is a good idea to try everything on right away, in case an exchange is required. Outfits will be shipped in convenient garment bags, and in the case of group rentals, bags will be identified by group member. FedEX is our method of shipping, as the rentals will arrive right to your door or specified address.
Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. Rentals should be returned the first business day after the event, unless other arrangements are made. For weekend events, rentals must be shipped back Monday.
Extended rentals are available if arranged with us beforehand. Outfits and items can be rented longer for $25/day or $100/week.
